Well Adventurers, if you've ever wondered what it's like to have ADHD, look no further than me updating three weeks of "weekly" updates at once!
Life is too short to remember goals, right?
Wrong, there is plenty of time to forget goals, set a dang alarm!
Okay, be serious Gigi, update the Adventurers on what is happening in AuthorLand and stop talking to yourself in the third person.

In this house, we celebrate every accomplishment, big or small! Here are some of the small and big things I've done recently as an indie author.
Accomplishments:
Participated in my first SKY (Stuff-Your-Kindle)
This was a very fun event! Except, my EPUB version wasn't approved in time to fully participate. Instead, I added the EPUB on my author site and dropped the price to the same, $.99. I'm extremely happy with participating because it did drive traffic to my site and I sold 10 more books than I would have without!
Received my first "This book is so good"
Swoon! I about died and went to heaven when I saw two of the wonderful BookTokers discussing my book!
Accepted my first table at an author event I'm so happy to announce that I'll be signing at Magic City Book Bash in Tulsa, OK on April 12th! This will be my first author event and I'm incredibly excited for it!
Ordered my first author table runner What is one this you need for an author event? A table runner! I got mine ordered with my author logo!
70k words in my second novel
I always aim for 70k on my first draft, knowing I'll expand to more words in the second and thir d drafts~my brain likes to write non-linear. As soon as I printed it out I knew that I would be making some major changes and then promptly decided not to touch the manuscript for a week. Oops! I'm back to getting the first draft completed instead of distracting myself with other short stories and novellas.
Connected with another writer for sensitivity read
Social Media has been amazing as a reader and writer! I've connected with so many unique and wonderful people and recently met a wonderful writer focusing on endometriosis. I'm excited to continue connecting and working with her as a possible sensitivity reader to expand knowledge about this chronic illness!
Did NOT win a writing contest
Womp Womp! The results of a flash fiction contest that I participated in were released and I did not, unfortunately, place. But that's okay! I had a blast doing the JerboaLit competition and will absolute participate in the next one! I love to challenge myself with writing quickly with a specific prompt. Sometimes I can be controlling about my stories and I like to see what I can create when I'm not in full command.
Listed in a "5 Star Reads of the Year (so far)" video
Absolute an author dream come true! Its a small moment, one that will be forgotten by next week, but as a new indie author, to have a reader say that MY book is in a list of their favorite 5 Star Reads so far!
5 REVIEWS!
It absolutely does NOT get better then seeing I've got reviews from readers! Reviews are an author's lifeline so if you've read a book lately, especially a book from an indie author, please go review it for them!
